RESEARCH PAPER INTRODUCTION. When Coco Chanel said that, “In order to be irreplaceable, one must be different” she turned out to be right about especially with the growing rate of creativity, most of the people work on being unique. The Cayman Islands is an example of what Coco Chanel was talking about. Back in the 198o’s, Cayman’s good political stability, peaceful and welcoming people, and great business opportunities were among the major factors which led to the growth of tourism sector in the Cayman Islands. It was until Luther Miller’s research during the time that opened the eyes of the Cayman’s Island to shift to a level of uniqueness. Luther noticed the commonness of resources among most islands in the Caribbean and thus alerted the Cayman’s Islands government to try and find other methods different from the turquoise seas and beautiful beaches which would attract more tourists each year compared to other islands.
